Overview and Objectives:

The SCA (SA) –Supply Chain Academy (SA) is an academy for educating, training, sharing and networking professionals for supply chain management internationally. These further include Consultants, Business People and Policy Developers. The SCA (SA) is an international CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply) approved centre and AEP (Approved Education Provider).

Our Lecturers &/Tutors: All our Lecturers are qualified supply chain management professionals from South African Universities, backed up by qualified Educators and all of them are professional members with CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply).

Our Vision:

To be the hub of excellence, foundation and locus for aspiring supply chain professionals, consultants, Policy Developers, and academia related to Supply Chain Management profession/field in the SADC region.

Our Mission:

To contribute towards improving the quality of Human Capital and  performance of countries in the Southern African Developing Communities; (SADC} region,  by improving the productivity of supply chain across the region through; training, development and supply of an easily accessible pool of robust supply chain professionals at different levels, to the private and public sector economy.

About CIPS Qualifications 

Throughout the world CIPS qualifications are recognised as driving leading edge thinking and professionalism in procurement. MCIPS is recognised worldwide as the standard for top quality procurement professionals.

We offer five qualifications to support your professional development in procurement and supply. On successful completion of the Diploma, Advanced and Professional diplomas and in conjunction with three years’ experience in a role of responsibility in procurement and supply, you may apply for full membership of CIPS to use the designatory letters, MCIPS.
